IN-HOME TRAINING
This program is designed for puppies to build strong foundations in socialization practices, toy & food drive, and confidence skills. This program is offered to the Sulphur, Louisiana and surrounding area by Austynn Hoffpauir.
What behaviors are to be expected to be gained from program?
Every program is centralized to the goals of the client for the future of the dog in the adult years. A personalized socialization schedule/plan will be designed based upon these goals. As well as lessons on confidence building and toy/food drive skills.
PUPPY MANNER SKILLS
Socialization
Socialization for dogs prepares them for the reality of the world they will be exposed to in their adult life. There is a key period in a puppies development that when they are exposed safely to the world will set them up for success later.
Confidence Building
Building confidence in a puppy will not only help build a stronger bond between handler and dog, but aid them in being strong independent problem solvers in their adult lives.
Toy & Food Drive
A dog’s food and toy drive when built properly can help create ease and success in training them throughout their lives from puppyhood to adulthood.
What are the requirements for the puppy manners program?
The program requires dogs to be between 6 & 16 weeks of age. Proof of appropriate vaccinations are required for enrollment. This includes DHPP (Distemper, Canine Adenovirus types 1 & 2, Canine Parainfluenza Virus, and Canine Parvovirus), Rabies, negative fecal tests within 14 days of in home visits, and heartworm prevention of owners preference.
What is expected from the in home program?
30 Minute Phone Consultation
Over the phone consultation to discuss goals from training services.
1 Hour Private Training Sessions x3
A scheduled 1 hour private training session that can be done in home or depending on the goal of the behavior in a specified location.
Personalized Printable Homework Plan
A written up printable PDF document of the training session will be available to the parents after the session.
Printable Management & Behavior Resource Guide
A printable PDF document guide with resources on management & behavior strategies.
Personalized Socialization Checklist
A printable PDF document that has detailed documentation on different socialization items.
Program Pricing
$400 for the full package
$110 for Individual Behavior Lessons
Austynn Hoffpauir, owner and primary trainer for Positive Mark. She has been professionally working with dogs as a kennel assistant, doggy daycare supervisor, and veterinary assistant since 2018.
With her personal dog, Lace, she has competed in multiple sports-scentwork, hunt tests, dock diving, barn hunt, and shed hunting. In addition to dog sports that they compete in, she and Lace work together in other disciplines such as waterfowl hunting in Southwest Louisiana and conservation detection to locate bird and bat fatalities from wind turbines.
Austynn offers reward based dog training services for obedience, puppy manners, exercise excursions, and started gun-dog.
